Help building my first pc

I am building a gaming pc. My budget is 1200$ maybe + 200$. I have no keyboard, mouse, etc, so I am starting from scratch and my specs are:
Western digital caviar blue 500 GB STAT III 7200 RPM 16M cache - 75$
Intel core i5-2500K processor - 220$
ASrock Extreme 4 P67 Gen3 - 150$
Corsair Vengeance blue 8 GB dual channel memory kit - 50$
Viewsonic V3D231 23-Inch Monitor - 275$
Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 full tower case - 130$
Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 OC 2 GB DDR5 - 270$
windows 7 professional - 140$
Corsair Professional Series Gold 850-Watt 80 Plus Gold Certified High-Performance Power Supply - 170$

As you can see my current cost is a little bit much. I am curious about whether the motherboard and power supply are need or if I can cut back there. I am hoping to play games like skyrim and oblivion graphically modded and maxed. I appreciate any feedback.

  1. These will save you some $$ and should work fine:

If you want a quieter ps, checkout antec or seasonic; I use ocz and the 135mm fan on it is extremely quiet.
  2. I do wish to crossfire and oc in the future I will also probably upgrade parts as well. thanks for the reply and help. If anyone else has any personal recommendations or specs let me know I appreciate it.
