GTX 560 Ti Shadow Problem

Hello, I am a proud owner of a GTX 560 Ti nVidia gfx gard. While playing games such as SWTOR, and Skyrim I have encounted a problem with shadows on high quality. I've compared with my friend's similar card and my shadows are boxy rather than smooth. I will include a link of someone with the same card having the same problem with me so you can see some screenshots. Thanks!

Turn on Vsync? Update Drivers?

Drivers are up-to-date, V-sync makes the problem worse

It's just how certain games handle shadows. They are depth map shadows, not raytraced.
