I have crossfired 6850's and no problems at all.

So simply almost double your fps? What do i do once i get the other one after putting it on the motherboard? (driver wise etc) Thanks!

It should recognize it automatically and you should see a pop-up giving you the option to enable crossfire. You should always download the latest catalyst application software here http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/pages/crossfirex-app-profiles.aspx and keep an eye out for new ones every week or so.

Thanks, i'll just wait to get some more responses here to see experiences and see if any reprot REAL issues with xfire..

Anyone else report on their 6800series crossfire?

Don't forget to download the CAP profiles for crossfire, and you will likely have to reinstall the drivers for crossfire to be available to enable, which you can find within CCC. Maybe things have changed in the last few months, but it used to require you to reinstall drivers for crossfire.
