XFX power supply question

Hi,

After LONG research, I have decided to buy the XFX PRO 750W XXX version for my new gig.

My question what's the difference between

P1750XXXB9 vs P1750BNLG9?

vs

Here is what I know.

P1750BNLG9

* same as the P1-750B-CAG9(XFX XPS 750W Black addition)
* which got great review from jonnyguru
* http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=184
* which is basically the same as discontinued Seasonic M12D.
* 80 silver rated

P1750XXXB9
* looks very similar
* 80 bronze rated

From the XFX site I can't seem to distinguish between the two other than the bronze vs silver label. (price range looks similar also)

If anyone can share info on these two, it would be great!

Thank you in advance.

    The P1750BNLG9 uses the older, more efficient Seasonic SS-750HT / M12D design.
    The P1750XXXB9 uses the Seasonic SS-750AM design, which is very similar to the designs used in the Corsair TX750 V2, NZXT Hale82, possibly a few others but can't remember them atm.

    I personally would choose the P1750BNLG9, because basically all units I have seen based on the SS***AM/AT design have the fan spin @ 1000RPM in idle, whereas with the SS-***HT design the idle fan speed is 600RPM. It is possible that XFX have lowered the idle fan speed of the P1750XXXB9, but I personally wouldn't take the chance.

    Hmm so that's another + for P1750BNLG9 in addition to being silver.

    Is there any disadvantage of P1750BNLG9 since it is older design?

    You'll get the proper answer to that question on JG forums.
