An ASUS P8P67 DELUXE -16x ,8.Ch.S,L, USB 3 motherboard

An intel 2nd gen processor (i5 or i7)

A 750 GB hard drive

Running windows 7

And A Good Video card

is the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler really necessary? if i buy the i5 wont it come with a fan and heat fin setup?

in a year or so i will be upgrading to liquid cooling so i don't think it is necessary. i also love the graphics card but that's a little more than i want to spend on a card right now, are there any cheaper alternatives in the $250 range?
