Turn computer on - black screen

Hello, good sirs,
Today i turned my pc on. everything like always, windows loading and stuff. i log on to my account and all i see is black screen and a mouse. i can move mouse, i can use task manager. when i register to my sister's account everything is normal - desktop, icons. so what's the problem with my account? :/

Create another adminstrator account, log on and delete your old one after you copy all of your stuff. It can be a corrupt registry entry of the video driver, nothing else.
