Solution
It should ship with the latest bios. Contact the seller and see if they can confirm that or update it. If it doesn't, I think you're justified in returning it saying that it doesn't work. Sorry to hear about that.

My bad. i had to handle sum important business. while getting my stuff that i already ordered together. but my psu is the 1 from my current build which is a no-named model. i use it cuz my video card is the same. was gonna upgrade when i got a new video card

It largely looks like you've got this build pretty much figured out.

I mean, the quality of CPU cooler you get matters still and you should bounce your options off of us, but you're doing alright with it. Just make sure you get a good 120mm socket 2011 cooler.

Then you need to make sure the case can fit the cooler. And any RAM, as we discussed previously, will do. I don't trust Komputerbay, but you insisted that you do.

For the PSU, stick to Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, or XFX.

Your CPU cooler link isn't working, btw.

I figure your parts are...

Case: $70
RAM: $160 32GB (8x4GB) 1600CL9
Cooler: $50 Thermaltake Frio or similar http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106150
PSU: $60 ~600W Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, or XFX.

TOTAL: $340

The Antec Neo Eco 620C was recently $35 (after $20 rebate) on Newegg. That was a great deal. I guess you'll want to save $20 on your case to get it closer to $300 total. But the elephant in the room is your RAM. Just get 16GB (4x4GB) for now and add another 16GB if you need it or when you get $80 more. I wouldn't get a bad cooler as it will strongly impact your LGA 2011 overclocking.

i have run into a biggger more worse issue..
my motherboard that i've ordered (Intel BOXDX79TO LGA 2011 Intel X79) doesnt support the Intel Core i7-3820 proccessor, without a bios update. and am only learning this now since i've already ordered it
