I have an Nforce3 Ultra board with the Nividia Firewall. For some reason, the firewall always blocks www.netflix.com
It blocks Netflix no matter which Nvidia Firewall security profile is on (High, Medium, or Low). If I turn off the firewall, Netflix loads with no problem.
I've tried entering Netflix's IP Address in the firewall's IP Address table and setting it for "allow". It still won't load.
I can ping Netflix with no problems.
This is the only site that I've seen the firewall block since I've been using it. Every other website I've tried has been fine.
Does anyone know if there's something different about Netflix that would be causing this?
Thanks.

No, the only filters I have are the ones I've set-up for Netflix. I added both a domain filter and an IP address filter to allow Netflix; the firewall still won't allow Netflix to load.
I even started fresh with a new custom profile in the firewall and the problem is still there.
It's weird, because I've been going through my favorites loading everything and Netflix is the ONLY website I've seen so far that the firewall blocks.
There must be something that Netflix is doing differently that the firewall doesn't like. I emailed Netflix tech support but their answer was that I need to have cookies enabled - duh.
Thanks for your response.

Doesnt the firewall Log the reason of the blocking?
Im sure you can find a log somewhere that will tell you exactly what happened and you can start from there.
If you cant find it, it might be in: Right click My computer, manage, event log...
nVIDIA firewall!!! lol ok anyway..... in your Firewall Settings you usually have like an area where it lists everything you's allowed access/denial 2. Usually it's just a click or two to allow the firewall to let that object pass through.
just look around alittle in the settings. If not Uninstall that crap and load something like Zone Alarm..
