AMD 7750 work on PCIE 1.0

i am having a mobo with pcie 1.0 x16 slot. Will the latest AMD 7750 work on it. i heard it is pcie 3.0

A lot of debate on this, "technically" it should work because 3.0 is backwards compatible. Although, there have been people who have had trouble getting 2.1 and 3.0 to work on their 1.0. IMO, I would give it a shot.
