Help please! New build problem!

I just got my new build together and was getting all excited, about to install some games and I realized my second hard drive isnt showing up under my computer! I installed win7 under ssd already and its working great, and the 500gb hardrive is being recognized by my mobo and under device managers, but just not active under my computer. I am thinking this is something that is fairly easy to solve and that, this being my first time building a computer, is just a step I skipped over. Please help! Thank you!

Update: I went into storage>disk management and found the hdd labaled as Disk 1 (Disk 0 was my sdd). I clicked initialize or activate and it came online but still is not under my computer.
