I just ordered three monitors, all have DVI. I am using two 5770's in crossfire. I already purchased an active Displaylink to DVI cable. What else is needed to connect the other two screens? Can I use a DVI Y-splitter? Can I use the Displaylink to dvi for one, dvi to dvi for the second, and hdmi to dvi for the third? I would just like to have everything ready for when they arrive.

Monitors:
HP S2031 (x3)

Computer Specs:
Foxconn A9DA-S
AMD Athlon ii x4 645
MSI R5770 Hawk (x2)
Kingston Hyper X Blu 8GB 1600Mhz

Yes to which setup for cabling? Any of them will work?

Just out of curiosity, why are two 5770's not enough for gaming?

Two 5770's are about the same as a single 6870 which is only good enough for one monitor at 1080p decently. For a eyefinity rig with each monitor at 1080p, you need at least 2000 minimum.

yes to this.
those monitors have resolution 1600*900, crossfired 5770s will have hard time running games at the combined res of 4800*900. You'll probably need to use low-medium graphics settings in the games to get decent fps.
