6970 cfx FREEZES

I have a pair of AMD 6970's on a Gigabyte z68x-UD7. I have a 1200W Enermax psu that is putting out enough power and an i7 2600k. When i run these two cards separate from each other they both work fine. The second i put them in cfx mode, the system freezes, and i have to manually reboot.

Any idea whats going on?

reseat the bridge... and re-install the drivers.

Thanks, used a brand new bridge instead and it works great.
