Acessing homegroup on old computer

ok i have a brand new laptop with windows 7 set up and i made a new homegroup. there is also an old windows xp laptop hooked up to the same router.

i want to transfer files between the 2 computers but i can figure out how to join the homegroup on the xp computer.

any direction/help would be appreciated.

started reading stuff online does xp even have home group?? if not will the usb to usb cable work??

XP does not support home group. Home Group was introduced in windows 7.
As long as you have a active network connection between the two computer you will be able to share files between them.

You need to set up shared folder on your windows 7 computer.
