OK I just ran 3DMark06 on my new E6400 build and I got a score of 4481 with a CPU score of 1834. Does this sound about right to you other E6400 owners out there? I was wondering because during the CPU tests I was barely getting 1fps so I am wondering if something is not optimized on my system. My complete specs are as follows.

E6400
Asus P5b
2gigs XMS2-PC5400c4
X1800XT
250gig WD HDD

Anyone wish to share their results?

Alright, well I guess everything is working as it should then... I wonder how much overclocking the FSB until it's 1:1 with my ram would improve performance.

You're only ever going to get 1 to 5 fps max on that test - the CPU is rendering the graphics IIRC. Dual Core CPUs have a massive advantage in that part of the test too.

Thanks for confirming my hunch, I figured thats what was going on with that test, still it's a little disconcerting to see your brand new maching pulling off 1fps in a bench mark, haha.

My E6600 (at stock) got just over 2000 in the CPU version of 3D mark 06, so yes I would say that was just fine!

Oh yeah, I freaked out when i saw that 1fps thing. I remember saying the words, "Oh noooooooo whats wrong now, oh my God!"

Wow, overclocking to 2.6 GHz yielded me a 3Dmark06 score of 4685 with a CPU score of 2329. I'd say that's quite a jump. Does anybody think that it is a result of my now running the ram at a 1:1 ratio as well as the overclock? Or is this jump just due to the overclock alone?
