May i use internet on 2 pcs at home at a time ?

hello !
i want to use internet at home . i want to use my laptop in my room . If i use my lan cable in my room how can i use it . i mean may i use internet on both computers ?

You need a router, your ISP (internet service provider) should issue you with one, well most of them will. This will allow you to connect multiple devices (normally 4) using LAN cables and if the router also has wireless functionality (most new ones do) you will be able to connect multiple wireless devices (specs and model dependent but it's safe to say 10 wireless devices should be no problem)
