Hello there I have a Core i7 and use Windows 7 64bit. I Run Vmware on my Pc with another copy of a game i play & it seems when I have the game open in vmware and on my host system only 1 of my processor cores is being used the most. Just looking at my sidebar gadget the 3rd core down Is always maxed at %100 while the others range from %5 to %20 at most and sometimes the game crashes when that core is at %100. Is there any way to spread the load over the cores better?

I have Vmware set to use 1 Processor and 4 cores, but doesn't seem to make a difference.

I know this is probably an easy question for most but I'm very new to Vmware and i've never really looked into how Cpu's distribute there loads between there cores.

I'm guessing this is because the programs im running do not utilize multicores?
