Need help setting up 3 monitors

I recently bought a new tv with HDMI and I am having trouble setting up three monitors on my pc. I am using one sapphire radeon 6850 graphics card and when I try to enable three monitors I get the error message "unable to save display settings" my other two monitors are hooked up with DVI and the tv with HDMI. I am not sure what the problem is. any help?

You have not described OS and card video outputs.

1, Win XP - No way - no EyeFinity support

2, Win Vista/7 - you need one DisplayPort output at least.
VGA/DVI/HDMI is not good combination for Eyefinity
