D Link Network switch problems

Hello,
I am finding that my 8 port switch is always working intermittently . For 50% of the day my LAN does not work from Morning to afternoon . Suddenly it starts working . There is no loose contact in the network .

I have connected two DES- 1008D switches to network some 13 PC'S
located in the same hall . I find that the working of my LAN is very
intermittent . Like one line of 5 PCs works for one day and next day
the other line works . Next day it is the other way . Or some times
suddenly after half a day both works and LAN gets connected . It gets
working without any reason suddenly . I checked up and ensured there
is no loose contact in the lines . Only I get a message on my LAN that
I have a very limited connectivity and hence you can not connect to
internet . Also some times in 2-3 PCs I get connection with 2-3
systems only . How to test or trigger the switch so that I get assured
connectivity ?
