Hello guys ,

:hello:

I am looking for advice about which heatsinks I should buy.

I've looked around but the internet didn't come through for me this time.

Budget should be around 20$-50$

My current settup is this:

Case:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

CPU:

Right now I'm running with the stock cooler and I think my PC might explode at some point since the weather around here is pretty crazy.

It's running at about 54c+ at all times and when I launch a game it skyrockets to about 64c~, which is pretty alarming.

If you need more information on my system feel free to ask.

Thanks in advance.

You have a bad heatsink install.

The hyper 212 Evo is a good choice but can be a tiny bit confusing to install if you haven't done one before. If you want to keep the cost low, this is a good HS/F and very easy to install on an AMD socket/retention bracket: http://www.amazon.com/Arctic-Cooling-Freezer-Cooler-DCA... I have them on several budget builds and they cool excellent.
