About to flip tables

So I have this GTS250.... my PC screen is 1600x900... but the highest I can see is 1368xsomething.... So I download lastest driver and install them....and no change? I was ok before but when I came in 1 week ago it changed after I turn up my PC.... Wtf is going on?

Can you not even set up a custom resolution?

Tried also but it still remain the same. I hit apply it goes dark then come back like everything was succesfull...

am wondering if there could be some kind of profil setup alreally ( bought secondhand ). but when I install new driver I make sure I check the "delete old profile" box...

Or could it be old drivers? I had an ATI 1650X before...

Was also running on 2 screen before... both same resolution... kinda had same problem where 1 screen would get at a lower resolution without been able to set it higher....until I plug/unplug VGA cable many times...

They are both on VGAtoDVI adaptor if that change anything... Could a bad adaptor or cable make this? I never seen a cable just dropping resolution...

It's possible, I've seen bad adapters cause all sorts of weirdness in my time. Have you tried running just one monitor at a time and if so do you still encounter the same problem?

Yes from both adaptor, but less on the TV ( which is weird since I believe it support less resolution then a pc screen). I will bring adaptors from my job see if it change anything, even cables. but im pretty sure they aren't wrong. 1 of them is actually new.

ok now Nothing is ok... I can set my resolution super high (2048x1536) the *** is going on... Anyone know any good graphic driver sweeper?

sooo I only plug the pc screen... but now my normal resolution 1600x900 is not right.... cant see hour... im gonna throw everything by the window soon!

double checked the manual and 1600x900 is suppose to be the right resolution... its on 1366x768
