Best gaming CPU

Hey guys,

which one is the "best" gaming-CPU (around 250-300€)?
is there any reason to buy a i7 or xeon instead of i5?

Have you read http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106.html? A Core i5-3570K should be in your price range.

i5 3750K. If not overclocking then i5 3450.
There's reasons to get i7 or Xeon but gaming isn't one of them. No game uses that many cores,not in the distant future. Unless you are running professional suites,you don't need them.
