Greetings Richard,
Both are good lenses with the Kreuanach lenses having a very good
performance record. Lenses are critical in getting the finest resolution and
the Kreuznach lenses will do that. The Retinar will do a great job as well,
but let me make a personal analogy - i.e. comparing the difference between a
Nikon Lens and a Leica Lens. Both are extremely good with Leica having a
slight edge.
