Black screen on startup, takes multiple attempts to boot

[OptyFM]

dxdiag bellow. I haven't flashed my bios, and I haven't touched cpu speed settings in bios or any of that. This just randomly started happening to me. I didn't know where to put this cuz there isn't really a trouble shooting section so.. move this if you have to.

My computer won't start. Almost every time I restart my screens are blank. It takes MULTIPLE attempts to get the screens to turn on with the boot and then it says there was a boot failure so it goes into boot repair and all that. I let it run it's course, then as it's rebooting I go into the BIOS and load optimized defaults just in case. It boots fine.

After having gone through this several times today, I'm afraid to restart my computer again. I installed easytune to see what it was all about, and thats when this all started. I've since removed it, and cleaned the registry but I'm afraid to restart..I don't have the money to fix this right now and it's on, and stable so I don't wanna f with it ><

Can anyone help me?

I had a similar issue like this a couple years ago on one PC, it was bad memory, if you're willing too, run a memory test.

If i can get my pc to boot.. lol. (Hits on off button 10 times, fml)

irritating, just bought this new ram. I haven't had any crashes when it's all booted up so that's good.

Weird, though.. After I installed this new ram I booted up just fine. Restarted several times since then with new graphics drivers etc..

sounds like you have a issue with the power supply or the case on switch. check to see if there a mini board that the front panel on switch plugs into. check to see that the wires are on tight on both ends. if they are try turning the pc on by shorting the on pins or use a jumper. if the pc comes on fine that way then it the case on switch..if the error still there then it could be the mb or the power supply. (i would try an have the power supply fendor to a cross ship or see if you can use another ps for testing.

Smorizio you got it. the power button was faulty. I had to buy a new case it was unfixable, the wiring was messed up.

At least the haf 912 was still on sale. Thanks for the tip, i wouldnt have thought to look there.
