So im going to be upgrading my computer and was wondering if i have t upgrade my psu too.

So im going to get an intel core i5 2500k (overclock it to about 4.5+) and also going to get the asus sabertooth z77.

Iam also going to get the palit 670 jetstream.

And on top of that im going to get the XSPC raystorm rs360 kit

My current power supply is a Vantec ION2 620W Ultra Quite.

Bare in mind iam planing on upgrading my power supply somethime in the future just wanted to now if i can run all those componets on my current one in the meantime.

Thank you for your time

  1. your PSU isn't a great PSU, but not a horrible one, i would stick with it for now

Yeah i know its not great and all, made the mistake of going cheap on the power supply when i got my computer.

What can i say i was noob back then.

Anyway thanks for the advise im going to stick with it till i can get enough money to buy me a better one.

On a side note do you happen to know any good price to performance 850w power supplys?

And my current power supply will be able to haddle all the componets right?
  3. 850W, thats far overkill, i would go 750W max, 650W for Xfire/sli
  4. if you want to know if your psu will handle the components just use a psu calculator , like this one http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
