Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP

Budget Range: $800(cheaper if you can)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: games(world of warcraft, skyrim, FPS); watching movies on netflix, internet browsing

Parts Not Required: monitor, keyboard, mouse

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg or other reputable site

Country: U.S.

Parts Preferences: I want the case to be something that would look normal in a home office(i.e. no neon green futuristic looking cases)

Overclocking: no

SLI or Crossfire: no

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 - its an old LCD I have from my old Acer computer

Additional Comments: This is my first build, so I want parts that are easy to put together and a case that's easy to work in(I have huge hands). I'd like it relatively quiet.

To update, after some more research, I found a sample build on a blog.

1. Is this a good build?

2. I'm thinking of paying an extra $36.00 to get a Intel Core i5 Processor i5-2310 2.9GHz 6MB LGA1155 CPU rather than the 1-3 in the above build. Will this be compatible with my motherboard and everything else in the build?
