Is this normal for a i5-3450?

I am using the stock cooler and no graphics card yet.

It's running at default temps and it seems really hot. Also the power consumption seems REALLY off.

Also from the left to right: Value, Min, Max.

That is a good temp for intel's stock cooler, the watts aren't off, you computer is idling or has little load, the CPU will underclock its self when it has low loads.

What do you mean off anyway?

And it doesn't take alot for an i5 to play a podcast, thats still a good temp for stock cooler and ivy bridges are hot CPUs.

You can check with CPU-Z and core temp...

Another thing to take into consideration is the fan speed. On Quiet profile, the PWM controller will leave the CPU fan on (very) low speed until the temperature rises a fair bit. At 45C, your fan speed should still be near its lowest.
