I have an optical drive and HDD with Win 7 32 bit (no full 4gb ram)

I saw some Refurbished cards
A gts 450 for $90 and gtx 460 for $100

I would like if it would play "modern" games on high-medium

This would be my first build im 14 ;P I think il get the card after my jr high graduation to game during summer haha :hello:

There is no way that you are going to find a card for that price that will play modern games on high, especially not BF3. You could probably play on medium though with something like the gtx 460. $100 is a good price. GTS 450 vs GTX 460

HD 6850 (used)? Right around your price range on ebay.

Il maybe go for the 460 unless someone else posts anything else

The GTX 460 or the HD 6850 would both be great bets for your price range. Just depends whether you prefer AMD or nVidia.

I'm thinking of the 6850; not sure if it will fit on the motherboard...

Lol there is no question about the motherboard, more the case. But your case is a mid tower, so you'll be fine for the 6850. My friend can almost play BF3 at ultra in 1080p with a 6850. At such a low resolution your processor is going to be the bottleneck. At that price point I would highly recommend getting a sandy bridge pentium and cheap motherboard to go with it. A couple more bucks for a lot more power coupled with a 6850.

Il maybe get a corsair that had 550w I think but lol I don't really want a pentium this wouldn't really bottleneck

Yeah no you won't get BF3 on ultra but maybe on high. My 6870 ran it on Ultra without MSAA @ 1440x900 at about 40 fps max.

Il be playing on high-medium not ultra il maybe get some good fps

Yeah you should be happy with the 6850

Do you think the a4 3400 will bottleneck?

It shouldn't too much. You could over clock it a little but it still might a small bit. The 6850 is a pretty good match for the a4 though.

Il choose this card for my graduation present haha (3 weeks) and the intergranted graphics can run BF3 on medium on about 30 fps+ and after rebates this is about $180 without gpu

Sounds like a pretty go idea to me.
