$1000 Gaming Build

I have a friend that is building his first computer. He does light gaming and is looking for an upgrade from his AMD C-50. I would appreciate any reccomndations on parts.PLEASE NOTE THAT $1000 INCLUDES A MONITOR, ALL COMPONENTS, AS WELL AS A MONITOR, AT LEAST 22". ALSO ONTARIO HST WHICH COMES TO ABOUT $890 WITHOUT TAX.
