First time buidling - how does this sound?

Hello, I've browsed this site many times but have never posted. I now am seeking some advice.

I've gathered some parts the past couple months from sales, etc and so far I have:

IN WIN MANA134 case ($20AR)
OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W ($50AR)
OCZ Agility 3 Sata III 60GB SSD ($50AR)
Samsung DVD Burner ($13)
Sony Internal Memory Card Reader thing (~$15)


I have reserved and am picking up tomorrow:

i5-3570k cpu ($190)
P8Z77-V LX Socket 1155 Z77 ATX Motherboard ($90)

I still need to get... RAM! I'm thinking 8 gig (2x4gb) is good for now? DDR3-1600?

I already have a 1tb external HDD. I don't game (not a whole lot of time to in law school). I do want a damn fast computer tho that will last me quite awhile and I can hook up to tvs, etc.

Down the road as I get more money I plan on getting:

Larger internal HDD
Graphics Card of some-sort
Another monitor

Sound like I'm on the right track? Any suggestions on RAM? Thanks guys..
