Change File Type Colors?

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize (More info?)

Is there a way to changes colors of file types in Windows Explorer (or any
other view)? For example, all .exe files would list as red, all *.txt files
would list as green, etc...

Not without using a third party application that is designed to do this type
of special configuration.
