What do i need to upgrade?
I want a good computer that can handle most games on high.

CPU:intel e8500 core2duo3.16GHz

Ram:4 gb

Harddrive:500 GB western digital

Video cardalit ATI HD4850

Motherboard:Asus P5QL PRO

Case:cooler master Elite RC-335

Operating system:Windows XP Home Edition

How much $ are you planning on spending and what PSU ? It looks like the CPU+Motherboard is in need of an upgrade and wouldn't hurt to upgrade your GPU either.

Your gonna need a whole new computer basically.

You need cpu, which means new mobo and ram (unless you already have ddr3)

A new video card, which may or may not require a new power supply and WinXP is obsolete, so you need a new OS too.

I would probably convert the existing one as a home server and build a new one...the Ivy Bridge i5 3570K....

Yea I agree with these guys. If you have around $800-1000 you can build a nice pc with noticeable performance upgrade from the current pc you have.
