Ivy Bridge build vs Sandy Bridge Prebuild

Ok so I have been in the market for a new computer, I would have wanted to build my own, but I only have a best buy credit card, and Bestbuys website prices are expensive for parts.

That is the computer I have been looking at, A few questions about it
-It seems like a computer that I could have for a while, in terms of being upgraded. Thoughts?
-It has an i7 2600, is the motherboard compatible with the new Ivy Bridge cpu?, just incase I want to upgrade in the future. (will changing CPUs void my operating system?))

Like I said I would build my own but i dont have a credit card except the best buy one
I do not think the ivy bridge is that much better than sandy bridge at this point

Thoughts? Thanks!!

Like i stated though, im tight on money upfront, not sure if the best buy credit can be used outside of best buy

So even though it has an older processor, it will hold up for many more years?
and is it recommended to buy someones build on ebay?

As someone who build their own computer (yourself) is 899 dollars, over priced for the one with the ibuypower with the i5 2500k?

I see that the harddrive is also faster than the Asus.

I guess i should rephrase that,

For a prebuild, is it a appropriate price, like im wouldnt be getting a bad deal? haha
