Hello community i have a problem with my Intel Pentium Core Duo E5200,my system specs are:
Intel Petnium e5200(stock cooler) 2.5,2 mb l2 cache
Asus P5LD2-VM motherboard
2 GB of Ram(2x1 GB elixir 667 mhz)
Ati Radeon HD 4350
PSU Cooler Master 400 W
DVD reader and writer
320 GB ata Hard Drive.
I have a problem like the first time i turn on my pc my cpu works on 1.25 ghz(12.5x100) but after i turn the psu on and off my bios resets and the cpu works on 2.5 Ghz again,it also shows 2.5 in windows but at the first time cpuz says 1.25 ghz i tryed about 3 bios for my mobo for now i used the default that came with the board,i use the latest normal 1201 and beta 1301 and also used the 1401 version it says cpu overvoltage error and also cpu ucode error the thing is that when i enter bios it says that my cpu has hypertreading im like wtf i think it sees at as a netburst cpu(Pentium 4) and i turned off speed step now as far as oc goes i can only get fsb to 133 mhz,but the second time i fire up the pc i check with core temp it says 2500 mhz(12.5x200),also when it working on 1.25 the fsb isnt 800 its 533 :pfff: so is there anything i do about that i wanted to oc my cpu in windows but setfsb dont work for my mobo, also clock gen same thing,is there any way i can put maybe a modded bios or something to let me put my cpu on 200 mhz fsb so that it works 12 x 200 not 12 x 133 or 100 mhz :pfff:
.My temps are good 34 C core 0 36 c core :pt1cable: 1,system temp is 35 C,video card temp is 34 C pls help quick i will attach my bios file the one im using if you need. Thanks in advance cause i have fate in this forum its the best pc forum ever :)
