2wire as gateway, linksys as ap via STB

Hello,
How do I get my wrt54gs to work as an access point to a 2wire router by connecting it to a set top box from at&t uverse which has an ethernet port.

You should be able to follow the article below, as it goes through what steps are necessary. The port technically is supposed to be input only, but way back in 2008 it was functional as I/O, not just I.
