Your question

VGA as primary display instead of HDMI?

Last response: in Graphics & Displays

I have a Asus Geforce GTX 470 and when ever I plug in my primary display (with a HDMI cable) my secondary display (with a VGA cable) turns into a Primary. I know you can change it in the operating system, but my secondary display is hanging upside down. So when I access my bios. Everything is upside down. :pt1cable:

Is there some tweak or something that I can try to resolve this? Yes I can use my DVI cable, but I paid alot of money just for my HDMI-to-mini-HDMI cable.

Thanks for any advice.

There is no way out of your dilemma :(
That's the way the cards are structured until they come out with cards that just have HDMI ports on them, the DVI/VGA are there to stay as Primary Displays at the BIOS levels.

A, it's too bad. I'll stay with dvi.

Thanks for the response.
