DVI vs HDMI

hi. i have 2 montiors set up currently. The main one is hooked up to the DVI plug. For the second one, i have the option of hooking it up to DVI or HDMI. Which one will give me the bettter quality?

The Quality Will Be Exactly The Same, Since HDMI Is Just Basically Dual-Link DVI+Audio (If There Is Audio Enabled/Connected) With Slightly Higher Bandwidth (Due To Digital Compression) With A Smaller Diameter Cable.

doesn't really matter as the signal is identical for both. The only difference is that HDMI support up to 1920×1200p60, same as DVI, only dual link DVI supports higher

I thought HDMI is identical to single link DVI+ Audio.
