I can't stand my old Dell XPS 600 anymore and I'd like to buy a new PC to be able to play Diablo 3 with high settings.
I've been waiting for the Ivy Bridge release before making the switch and it's finally been released, so I would like to buy my new PC by the end of this month.
Approximate Purchase Date: May/June
Budget Range: around 1500.00$, but could go higher if needed. Would prefer to stay in that range though.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: mainly gaming and watching movies
Parts Not Required: Only need the tower and the monitor. Everything else won't be part of this budget.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg
Country: Canada
Parts Preferences:
-Ivy Bridge equivalent of a i5-2500k
-One of the new 7*** Radeon graphic cards(would also consider nvidia if they have something new that is on par with those)
-A mobo that would last me for a while if I want to upgrade my CPU. (core 2 duo came out a few months after I bought my PC and couldn't use those on my mobo, don't wanna be in that situation again)
-One of those nice SSD
-Easy to open and good looking Tower
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: Would prefer not unless there's no better options
Monitor Resolution: No idea but something high enough that won't bottleneck my graphic card.
Let me know if you need more infos.
Thanks for your help.
