Upgraded to 965 from 945-error message cpu nosupported

I had to replace an 945 cpu . was told that a 945 cpu was not avaiable so to upgrade to a 965. installed and get unsupportted cpu error. How to fix?

Your only hope is to get your hands on a supported CPU and then to flash the BIOS on your motherboard with a version that adds support for the 965, if such a version exists.
