I am sure that it can without being positive.
I have 1600 x 900 and I can max with same card. I really don't see any diff with anti aliasing set to max as opposed to lower settings tho. I lose about 5-15 fps but still maintain over 50 fps with only an occasional bump below 50. I do have my card overclocked to the highest stable point, but I am not sure it is nec.
You could prob still achieve a playable fr without the oc.Especially since your res is lower.
Should i get the Direct CU II or the Twin Frozr II
That comes down to a matter of choice.. The asus prob has a longer warrantee but the frozr is a great card You should also check out the msi hawk frozrIII as well and the 448 models as they are almost equall to 570 just in case you ever decide to upgrade your monitor.
there is a gameplay only cpu is change w the resolution and card are same and u can see that in fx 4100 it performs good which is way behind then i52500k in gaming so it will run perfect with ultra settings goodluck.

Just grab yourself a MSI GTX 560ti Twin FrozrII 1GB version for your set up you dont need a 2GB version for your resolution , its a great card , excellent cooling and has a lot of headroom to overclock
