The OCZ modxtreme 4 should be fine for that case. What was too short? The cables?

Yes, I was looking at the cable breakout dimensions on their website. They seem to be pretty good for length. I'm not sure what he meant by too short.

What cable is too short on the OCZ modxtreme 4? The 4/8 pin ATX power cable that plugs into the motherboard?

Suit yourself. Either use an extension on the PSU you have now, or buy that one then.
