HD 5750

Hi Guys,

I am short on my budget, but I really need to buy HIS HD 5750
I am currently using 300w PSU
my specs are :

Dell Vostro A180
Core2duo E6400
Foxconn G31MX
2gb ddr2 ram
1 x HDD (maybe 7200)
1 x DVD-ROM

I have these Questions :

1. Is 300W-350W enough for my configuration? - Newegg PSU Calculator shows 299W and Extreme's show 267 W
2. Which is the best Low end Graphic Card - which can run BF3 at playable fps @ 1280x1024 :P ??

Thanks,

It's easily enough for a 5750 it is a low power card but I was impressed with the frame rates that little card could pump out when I had my Sapphire Radeon HD 5750 1gb GDDR5
  2. You should be fine, as long as you have a brand-name PSU. It will be good enough for BF3 at that resolution.
  3. Well I am not sure of the current PSU of my Vostro A180
but I have two spare PSU, one is Dany250W and second one is a local PowerTouch300W

    So which is the best?
  4. None of those psus are quite good. Get a proper 400W+psu(corsair, seasonic, antec, xfx) before you get a new video card. Those psu will probably blow up if it reaches 300W and probably take your components too

It will run a 5750 I know from experience.

It will run but think about a better PSU down the road when you can afford it but use the 300watt as an interim PSU while you save.
