What is the best Cpu for ati 5450 card ?

Hello ,

Can any one tell me a budget gaming processor that cost around 50$ ? for a G41MT-S2P motherboard and balanced with my ati HD 5450 graphic card .


And i have another question : Is there any difference between the types of ram card ? Ex : Corsair 4GB , Kingston 4GB ,... ETC .

How much could one card cost? And which one is the best for gaming ?

If you want a brand-new CPU for $50 on LGA775, you might be out of luck. If you had an LGA1155 board, you could get a Pentium-G530.

If you went for an AMD-FM2 motherboard, you could get an A8 APU and simply toss the HD5450 since it would be slower than the APU's IGP.

As for RAM, 4GB costs around $25.

If you don't mind buying things off eBay you can get the E6600 2.4GHz CPU for $50 + shipping. I have an E6600 in my home theater PC mostly for watching and encoding videos, but I did play Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 2 on it a couple of years ago. Then again I have a nVidia 9600GT in it; a little faster than a Radeon HD 5670 I believe.
