Hello, I am interested in upgrading my PC's graphics card from the geforce GTS 250 that it came with to the new geforce GTX 660 ti. I know it will fit in the case but I'm not sure my power supply is enough for the new card. Here is my model of PSU: http://www.itwinkle.com/hp46posu51.html
The gtx 660 ti says it needs a minimum of 450W and this PSU has 460W. The new card also needs two 6 pin connectors but my PSU only has 1. Is there an adapter for this? I don't really want to buy a new power supply so I am hoping this will work.

Solution
Will it work? Yes, at least for a while, until you can get something better.

Would I trust it for very long? No.

The OEM HP PSU's aren't the worst things in the world, but they're not great either.

Regardless, you should get an adapter for the extra 6 pin connector with the GPU.

You're welcome. And as rolli said, at least it's a Delta unit, so it's one of the better OEM PSU's.

Thanks for the help! I will definitely give it a go but will look into upgrading in the future if needed. I'm really just starting to get into computer gaming and enjoy all the help I can get
