I am building a computer with video editing in mind. CPU's will be paired with a GTX 460 SE.

Intel 2500k ($160.00) + Z68
Intel Q6600 ($78.00) + P45
AMD 965BE ($90.00 + AM3+
AMD 1045T ($100.00) + AM3+

System is being built from scratch. Video editing will be done in the Adobe Suite. Please answer from keeping the price/performance ratio in mind.

The only two worth considering is the Intel Core i5-2500k and the AMD Phenom II X6 1045T. Below is a link to benchmarks that compare the i5-2500k and the X6 1055T (the X6 1045T is not an option).

The Core i5-2500k is clearly better. Is it $60 better? That's up to you to decide.
