HP Athlon AMD Win XP
Just installed Works Suite 2005, and now I can't get the pc to work. All I
get is the startup screen, then a blue screen that says to disable
antivirus, defrag, and to reboot, but I don't have antivirus, and all it
does is restart to the same thing over again.
I can't get it to start in safe mode (f8, isn't it?)
There's an option to f2 or f12, but they sometimes don't do anything, or at
least nothing useful or that means anything to me.
If anyone can help me with this one, I would appreciate it.
marc_70@REMOVETHISyahoo.com
or use this ng.
Thanks to all.

forgot to mention it's a Compaq Presario 2100 if that makes any difference.

Keep pounding that F8 key as you power up the notebook. As soon as you turn
the power on, hit the F8 key and don't stop until you see Safe Mode coming
up. Good luck!
