New Nokia 6230 issues

Hello all,
I have had my Nokia 6230 for a couple of weeks now and am generally very
happy with it. However, having downloaded the settings for WAP via sms I
can't connect. As soon as I select 'home' in the 'services' menu I get 'No
response, try again'. It is very quick so it's as though the phone hasn't
even tried to connect. Any ideas?
Secondly the bloody pop-port connector! so loose fitting... when I'm
listening to radio/mp3 it cuts in and out more often than is acceptable (ie.
at all). Dunno what i can do about this really, probably nothing. Was
thinking about putting a cable tie right round the phone and the connector
head-set. So much for my new phone's classy good looks!
