Prevent from overclocking GPU

Guys m goin to buy sapphire radeon hd 6670 1gb ddr3, its ma 1st graphics card....
i have heard a lot thngs dat graphisc card get dead or sumthng lik dat, please tell me how to prevent GPU frm overclocking n othr damages...
i dnt want to loose it cauz i cant aford a new 1
