Ok, I'm wondering what sort of burner you have to have to be able to write CD TEXT to an audio CD. Nero keeps telling me that my burner doesnt' support it. Well its time to upgrade my burner and i want one that supports CD TEXT. How can you tell if a particular unit does in fact do this??

If you want to have a pretty complete list that compare different brands and models of CD burners and all the writing and reading modes that they support, just go to http://www.elby.de/CloneCD/english/index.htm and click on "Requirements".
The above site is from the company that developed "CdClone", a very powerful burning utility.
You will find all the info that you need in that page, I reccomend you the Plextor!

For what it's worth, I agree about Plextor. I currently have an LG 8/4/32, but I will be upgrading to a 16/10/40 Plextor sometime in the coming months.

My LG supports CD-Text, as well as overburning, and I have no problems burning at max speed.
