Ati radeon 6630m

hello. i'm having problems with a sony vaio notebook, model vpcse - 1e1e . in games like cod-mw3 i get like 30-40 fps 1920*1080 but in windows is so laggy :( ... when i minimise windows, when i simply drag them on desktop or even when i'm trying to select a text...like when u're reading it...i click and hold, i drag the mouse, but the blue filled line is coming like 1 cm after.
the video card i'm having is a ati radeon hd 6630m switchable with intel 3000. this model of notebook has a special button to switch them so when i'm switching them from ati to intel and back to ati everything it's working fine.. for a wile... after 20-30 min or after restart it's laggy again :((

More about radeon 6630m
  1. Does turning off Aero fix the problem? If not then it doesn't have anything to do with your video card.
  2. i turn it off, just the windows draggying seems to be little more smooth..but the rest is the same :( .. i'll try to restore again the notebook but with the button set on stamina not on speed.. see if it makes a difference. i'll be back in like 3 hours :D
  3. i restore from factory default. all hdd in 1 partition c: ... same lag ... i restore again in "normal" with 2 partition c: and d: ... all up to date everything fresh... but still, the same lag :( ...
please if anyone can help me with a twick or something... hdd it's at 7200 rpm ...
i dont know... is there any posibility to be the ram? i have 4 gb but i'm thinking...could be something wrong with it?
