Hello. I have recently started to upgrade a standard pc, but now i need a graphics card and PSU. My desktop is the Acer m3400 Blu-ray.

The casing is rather small but for my needs the 6770 has been recommended (it runs SWTOR and is rather small in size). I would like to know if this card is suitable for GW2 and swtor(the only games that i play/will play that need a fairly decent Graphics card). I would also like to know if this will actually fit within my pc and what PSU i will need. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Here are a few links to help. The 450w PSU is almost the same cost of a 500w one. Alos you want to make sure that you get a good brand of PSU like Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, and XFX etc.

It doesn't really mater what brand Card you get but the XFX and EVGA are usally first choice of card. If your case is a slim line you won't be able to use that big of a card. The biggest card in slim line is 6670. I hope this helps. Good luck to ya.

Yes it will fit I have a dell and I have a full size GPU in it plus most of the PSU's are made the same size in H x W x D from the 300w to the 750w are all with in the same size give or take a inch or two.

You have a nice CPU and good ram. You should be thinking of a bigger and better Case. My case is H 23 1/2" x W 9" x D 22". That is my gaming rig. The reason I say this is because.

When you get up into the higher end GPU's, CPU's, and PSU's you gennerate more heat. With the bigger cases you get better air flow and you add more fans. I have 7 case fans to cool and to exhaust hot air.

In my sig below and if you type it in the google search box you will be able to find it and see what it is. Problem is it cost about 160 dollars but they have big cases around 50 dollars. You just have to look for them.

You might want to look at a 6870. Your CPU can handle it and if you get at 500w PSU that would be enough for that card as well. But that is up to you and I hope this has helped a little and Good luck to you

Yes you can do that most MOBO's are standard and will fit most all cases. That would be the main concern but I wouldn't worry about it.
